Life in general

I haven't been posting as much here lately mostly because we've been busy but it's nothing real exciting to talk about.

I had a doctor appointment to check up on the baby last Thursday and everything looks good with him. I think we've decided on the name Kaden for the the first name but we're still working on a middle name. For the most part I'm feeling pretty good considering it's been so HOT outside and I'm getting bigger. This pregnancy seems to be going so much faster than the first one.

We've been working on getting Aubrey's new room cleaned out and put together so we can hopefully move her in there maybe this weekend. Wes took apart the twin bed that was up there and assembled Aubrey's new toddler bed while we were in Jasper this weekend. We have all the bedding and new pictures and decorations for her room too we just need to get them put up after I clean the room a little more. So far she's excited about her new room hopefully the switch will go smoothly.

In general Aubrey is still a really good girl although she is defiantly getting into that terrible 2 stage and has a definite personality all her own. She's really talkative and will actually put phrases together like "watch this daddy" and "that's mommy's car". It's amazing how much her vocabulary is growing. She's very stubborn if she wants something it's very difficult to distract her and telling her no just doesn't do it although we are pretty good about not giving in. She is starting to like her books more now and likes to look at the pictures and will tell you what they are. It's hard to believe she'll be 2 years old in a few weeks!

Wes has been working on a few projects out in his gym. His Christmas present to himself was a mold to make concrete atlas stones like you see on the strongest men competitions. He's got two stones now and is building a platform to lift them onto. It's taking longer than he would like but he's getting it done.

That's our life in a nutshell right now it's hectic and busy just trying to keep up with everyday stuff. Most weekends the next few months are going to be very busy as well with several trips to Jasper and getting ready for Aubrey's birthday parties. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.
