We had a great weekend! Saturday was my mom's birthday so mom and dad came down to visit with us and spend some time with the kids. While mom watched the kids dad helped me redo our flower beds up front. I've been wanting to move things around for a while so it was great that he could help me I don't think I would have got it done myself. We visited a while and took mom and dad out to eat at Logan's before they went back home.
Saturday night Wes was looking on Craigslist for a peice of gym equipment he's been wanting. It's normally between $600-1000 so he didn't want to dish out that much for a new one but it's something he thought would really help. He found one in Indy the guy wanted to get rid of this weekend and he only wanted $80 so he called and arranged to get it Sunday. Since Lisa and Drew had not been able to make it down to see Kaden yet and they guy thought the machine would fit in the Highlander we made a family trip and visited while Wes went to get the thing. Lisa had some Chili in the crock pot so we ate supper with them too before heading back home.
We also went to the zoo last Thursday with Sheri. It was the first time for Kaden and he did really well in the stroller he slept most of the time. Sheri helped with Aubrey and played with her on the playground while I fed Kaden. Overall it was a great day.
I took Kaden to the doctor today. His cord fell off a week and a half ago but it's still been bleeding and just not healing so they told me to bring him in and they had some medicine they could put on it to help dry it up faster. He weighed in at 9lbs 1oz this morning! It's amazing how fast they grow this early on.
