Housework

We spent last weekend doing house work and working on the house. Mom and dad came down for the weekend to help and we made a lot of progress and are working toward putting the house on the market. This weekend we touched up paint and fixed holes, replaced the kitchen cabinet hardware, and ordered the carpet for the den and the upstairs hall and stiars. Wes is working on the bathroom downstairs as well we painted and are putting the stick on floor tiles over a new thin subfloor. It's amazing what a difference it makes already it makes me wish we had done it years ago! I'll post pictures when it's done we are getting the shower steam cleaned next Monday and need to wait until they get the carpet down in the den to finish the flooring and put the transition strip on. The main other thing we need to do is work on the back yard replacing the path to the gym and trying to get some grass to grow and just cleaning it up in general. If the weather cooperates mom and dad are coming down again on Sunday to help. The new carpet is going in on Saturday!

As far as a new house we have looked at a few including two on Saturday, but nothing has stuck out as the "one". It has helped to narrow things down a little more for what we really need in the next house though and hopefully we'll find something we love.
