It was definatly a week and weekend to be thankful for. Starting out Wednesday Kaden had a doctor's appointment with the ENT to see about having tubes put in his ears since he's had so many ear infections. The doctor agreed and scheduled the procedure for Monday morning. After the appointment we picked up Aubrey and went home and Aubrey helped me made some cookies. We had supper and chilled around the house.
Kaden playing ball with daddy. This is his favorite thing to do he'll sit there forever throwing the ball.
Thursday morning we were moving a little slow I didn't feel very good and Wes was feeling kind of off as well but we got ready and went to Wes's parent's for Thanksgiving. We got to meet Wes's brother Jeremy's new girl friend and her son and had a good day with the family. We didn't stay real late though since we were not feeling the best.
Friday I took the kids to Jasper for the weekend while Wes started working on finishing out his gym. He also picked up the rest of the stuff from his parent's house and picked up our new bedroom furniture. Friday afternoon we went to the Hartings family party and got to spend time with my aunts, uncles, and cousins and the kids got to play with their cousin's.
Saturday morning Lisa and I took our kids and went to meet with the "camping group" friends and their kids. This is the first year everyone has made it although Bonnie didnt' get there until after we left her kids were there. We had a really good time and I think the kids did too. They played and ate lunch and played some more while the adults got to visit and catch up since we don't get to see each other very often. After the playdate we headed into Evansville to the Hadi Shrine Circus. We've gone with my cousin's every year for the last maybe 7 years but this is the first time it was at the Ford Center. We found it without a problem but we had a heck of a time getting seats it was so crowded. We ended up actually getting to sit in the reserved seat area because there was no where to sit in general admission so they let us sit where there were some openings in the other section. It ended up being good seats and we had a good time Aubrey says she likes the elephants the best and the camels. Kaden slept through the first part but then he did fine through the second part. After the circus we stopped at a McDonalds that was close to eat then headed back to mom and dads.
The kids (and me) L-R Bella, Shelby, Kate, Ciara, Emma, Mattison, (back row) Jenna, Aubrey, and Kaden. Poor Kaden the only boy with 9 girls. Lexi was missing from this picture I think she was going potty.
Sunday the kids and I went church with mom and dad then headed back home. We just worked around the house and went to get supper at Tumbleweed.
