We closed on the new house on Friday and got the keys! Since we didn't expect to get the keys until Sunday that was a great surprise because it gave us 2 whole non work days to work on the new house. Mom and dad came down for the weekend to help so we packed up the van and highlander twice and took some boxes over and Wes's dad took a truck load over. We also started ripping out wall paper so can paint on Thursday and Friday before the big move on Saturday. We got all the paper from the main level off luckily it came off really easy. The stuff upstairs isn't coming off as easy so it's still a work in progress. We are very thankful for all the help we have already received and has been offered to help with the whole process. Dad has the week off and has brought my aunt Mary Ann down today to work on the wall paper in the upstairs and tomorrow he's bringing my aunt Joan down to work on it. Thursday I'm off and Wes's mom also took off to help, then Friday Wes's mom and my cousin Tina and probably dad will be here as well so hopefully we can get eerything painted. Saturday is the big move and we have all sorts of help so I'm sure we'll get it all done. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate in 6 years since we moved into the house.
Our house closes on November 16th and everything is set there too so hopefully it will go smoothly.
