Trick or Treating and cleaning up

It was a really nice weekend and we got to enjoy some outside time.  Saturday we did some house work then went to Patoka lake campgrounds.  Every year they have a halloween weekend where people decorate their campsites and they have trick or treating for the kids.  We went two years ago and wanted to go again this year.  A few of my aunts and uncles were camping up there so we spent a little time with them and went around with the kids to trick or treat.  We met up with my cousin Emily and her family and went around with them.  Both the kids are Elmo this year because Aubrey found an elmo costume when we were at a consignment sale and we already had one from a few years ago that Aubrey never wore but remembered.  When she saw the one for her she insisted I get the other one out for Kaden.

 Saturday after trick or treating mom and dad took the kids home with them so Wes and I could get some much needed sleep.  Kaden is still not sleeping through the night most nights and it's really been catching up to me.  I'm not sure what his deal is but he's up at least once a night 5x a week a lot of nights he's up more than once and it really is wearing me down.  It worked out great that mom and dad could take them since they planned to come down Sunday to help me with a few things anyway.  Sunday I did my shoping then mom and dad brought the kids back.  Wes took Aubrey with him to go to Lowes to get the wire for the gym electric and run a few errands while Dad helped me outside.  We were able to clear some big limbs that have been laying in the yard since before we moved in and did a lot of weed eating to clear some of the brush.  There is still a lot to do some time but I've been wanting to get that done since it was sticking out into the yard and something Wes had to mow around.  Mom helped me make a pot of chicken and dumplings for supper then they headed home.  After they left Wes got the pumpkin carving stuff out and carved his pumpkin.  Aubrey actually helped him clean it out some which surprised me.  I think it turned out pretty well.
