We had a great visit with the doctor this morning for Kaden's 3 year checkup. He weighed in at 30 lbs and he is now 37 1/2" tall. Other than a finger prick to check his iron level he didn't get any shots today since they don't have the flu shots in yet for this year. He does have a yucky ear infection though in his right ear so we have some meds for it. He still has a tube in that ear but apparently it's not draining because she said it was really full behind it. He hasn't been complaining about it other than when I get water in it at bath time but he normally doesn't like that so I didn't think much of it.
The doctor was very pleased that it's been 3 months since we've had to have a breathing treatment! Back at the end of June his allergist added another inhaler to his meds and it seems to be working wonders! We haven't had a cough lasting longer than a day or two since then! I pray it continues to help and as it gets colder he doesn't get worse again only time will tell. He has a checkup with the allergist mid October so we will see what she thinks maybe we can get off some of the other meds then if he is still doing well.
He is such a trooper he is great at the doctor's office and didn't even fuss when he got his finger pricked for the iron test.
