Well I had an extended weekend since Sheri and their family were on vacation Wednesday through Friday. I went ahead and took those days off too instead of finding a different sitter. Wednesday we got groceries then met Wes for lunch and took Aubrey in to say hi to his co-workers. Then mom came down to visit and pick us up to go back to Jasper. Since we only have one personal vehicle and Wes had to work she spent the night Wednesday night and helped me around the house and we went shoping alittle then we went to Jasper Thursday morning. Aubrey wasn't feeling real well but I thought it was just her allergies/cold. Her eyes were kind of pussy but the eye itself was clear and her nose was running.
Thursday we got to Jasper around 1:00 and went to Jasper to do some shopping for the party on Saturday. We were having a Harting's family get together / Aubrey's birthday party at my uncle Dennis's shelter house. Thursday night I helped dad work on some book cases for Aubrey and Emma's rooms. By Friday morning both of Aubrey's eyes were just oozing it was pretty much constant and she had a fever and her nose was running. She was also messing with her ears. We decided to take her into the Medical of Dubois and get her checked out. Turns out she had an ear infection and got some drops for her eyes. Luckily the drops worked quickly and by Saturday her eyes were pretty much clear and she seemed to be feeling better.

Saturday Wes came to join us and we had a good time at the party. It's always a good time when the family gets together. They have a pond so the kids got to swim and the adults talked and played domino's. Aubrey got a few cool presents for her birthday and had fun digging into her first birthday cake. Saturday night we sent Aubrey home with mom and dad and went to April and Thad's house to watch UFC 100 and visit some more. Emily and Gwen and their families were also there and it was great to spend more time with them. Sunday we packed up and headed home to get a few things done around the house before going back to work.
