The zoo and Aubrey's play area

We had a very busy weekend again but we had a great time and got a lot done. Saturday we worked on Aubrey's new play area and got it to a point where she can now play in there. Wes and his friend Jason did most of the work and it's turned out great so far. It's not done yet but she can play there now. We put up a fence to keep the dogs and their messes out and Wes made a mulch area with rubber mulch for the play set we got from Jason and Sheri. We are going to try to get a sand box for back there too and the patio needs some work but at least she can play. There will also be a gate where you see the chair in the picture below.

Sunday I met Carla, Ciara, April and Kate at the Louisville Zoo. We met early since it was going to be so hot and I think everyone had a great time. The girls were so good riding in their strollers most of the time and we let them play in the water park area about half way through the park. They had a blast there and probably played for closet to an hour.

After leaving the park I did some shopping while Aubrey was at home taking a nap and Wes worked on another project for his gym. After supper I took Aubrey out to play in her new play area for a while for the first time.
