Happy Easter

We had a really good weekend despite the nasty weather. We started out with a few more first for Kaden on Friday we started putting him in a big boy car seat instead of the travel system carrier. He was getting so heavy and just too big for it and now that he can sit up on his own we decided it was time. We actually bought Aubrey a new seat and switched Kaden to her old one since it's easier to adjust as he gets bigger. Here is a picture from when I had the seats in the house to adjust the straps before putting them in the car.

Friday night we went out to eat as normal and since Kaden wasn't in his carrier he got to sit in a high chair. He kept sliding down but overall he did pretty good.

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny stopped by the house while I was giving Aubrey a bath ;) The kids had fun seeing what he brought them. Aubrey got some bubble things, stickers, flash cards, and a puzzle. Kaden got some cars, and some toys to chew on.

Aubrey got a pink cowgirl hat for her first birthday along with her rocking horse. The hat didn't fit at the time so it got put up in a closet I found it last weekend and put it in the toy box. She found it Friday night and played with it all weekend. It actually looked pretty cute with her Easter dress.
