Saturday afternoon we planned a zoo party for a bunch of my cousin's and their kids. We met at the zoo that afternoon and spent a few hours going through the zoo. The kids had so much fun running around and looking at all the animals. We had to rush a little at the end because the zoo was closing but we made it through the whole zoo. After the zoo we headed back to our house since none of the cousin's or Lisa and Drew had seen our new house. Mom and dad also decided to drive down and visit for a little bit since Lisa and Drew were there and my birthday is today so they wanted to celebrate. We ordered pizza and let the kids play while we waited for it. Shortly after we got done eating it got dark and Emily noticed a storm was coming and they were calling for large hail so we moved cars around to get some of them under the deck where they wouldn't get as much damage. It hailed for quite a while and the kids were facinated with it Aubrey keeps telling me she wants to keep the ice rain again. After the storm went through the cousin's packed up to head back to beat the next round of storms coming. Lisa and Drew spent the night and went home Sunday morning. We tried to let Emma and Aubrey sleep in the same room but Emma was having trouble getting to sleep so we moved her to the basement with Lisa and Drew.
Sunday we did house stuff and played out side most of the morning and afternoon. For supper we took the kids over to Mike and Carol's so Wes and I could go out to eat for my birthday. We went to Texas Roadhouse to eat which was yummy! Then we went back and spent a little time at Wes's parents before heading home.
Aubrey loves riding her bike here she is all decked out in her safety gear.
