Tuesday June 3rd was Aubrey's last day of school for the year. They had the awards ceremony for the rest of the grades and they got to participate in them. She is so excited to finally be a 1st grader!

Aubrey's Kindergarten Graduation
This school year has gone SO fast it's so hard to believe Aubrey is already done with Kindergarten! She had a wonderful teacher in Mrs. Shenks and she seemed to really enjoy school. She learned so much and can now read short books on her own knows some addition and subtraction and is as inquisitive as ever. June 2nd they had their Kindergarten graduation at school. The place was packed they have 5 kindergarten classes and each class got to wear a different colored t-shirt and they each had a song to sing for us. It was really cute. Aubrey's class did Hakuna Matta from Lion King. After their song they each got called up to receive a lanyard from their teacher. Apparently they are supposed to keep it and each year they get a new pin to put on it when they graduate each level.
