Christmas with the Hartings

Sunday Wes and I went back to Jasper for the Hartings' family Christmas.  On the way we stopped to see Matt and Tina's house.  It's an old farm house that they are remodeling on Matt's family farm.  So far it's a huge mess they are in the process of ripping out all the old plaster and walls so they can redo it.  After that we went to the KofC in Jasper for the party.  The family has gotten so large we pretty much have to rent a place anymore we just don't all fit in anyone's house!  We had a really good time mom and dad met us there with the kids.  We had a great supper with some food from Sander's catering and some potluck from everyone there.  Santa even made an appearance with gifts for all the kids and we had a White Elephant gift exchange for my cousin's and I got a yummy jar of M&M's.  It was loud and fun just like all of our family gatherings!
