Before this year I had never been to an NBA game but this year we've had the opportunity to go to 2 :) We went to a game in October here in Louisville to watch former UK player Anthony Davis play and Lisa asked if we would be interested in coming to Indy to watch them play again since she could get us free tickets from work. Of course we jumped on the chance! The game was the evening of December 23rd so it required us to take off work a little early but it worked out great. Wes's mom just watched the kids for us that day then they kept them over night. Wes dropped me off at work that morning then came and picked me back up and we headed to Indy. On the way we stopped at Cracker Barrel to eat some supper and we got to the game plenty early. The tickets were good on the second tier row 3 and they included a parking pass for the garage across the road. It was nice to have a whole evening to ourselves and not have to rush. The game was close but the Pelican's (the team Davis plays on) lost. He didn't play as well as he can but still had 20 some points and it was interesting to watch. We drove home after the game and got home around 11:30 pm and we got to sleep in the next day :)
