Just a quick update from the doctors this morning. Aubrey is between 17lbs 15oz and 17lbs 3.5oz ;) I think closer to the second since the first one she had all her clothes on and a wet diaper. She’s 29” long which puts her around 50th percent weight and 90% height! Other than that everything at her regular doctor checked out fine. They did a blood test to check for anemia which came back fine except for a slightly high blood count so she must be fighting a little bit of a virus but since she’s acting fine he said no big deal. They rechecked her ears which are clear. She got a hep B booster shot too. Then we went to the cardiologist he did the ultrasound of her heart which was interesting since she did not want to hold still more than a few seconds and was trying to bite the doctor's finger and grab the ultrasound wand. The doctor was really great with her though I liked him. He did confirm that the mummer is a normal thing that 50% of children have it is the valve between the two sides of the heart that hasn’t fully closed. Normally he said they close on their own by age 3 and he wants to see her back in two years to recheck it.
She is such a wiggle butt anymore it's funny and a little trying sometimes. She is normally really good when we go shopping or go out to eat though and she gets so much attention when we are out and just eats it up. She will go to anybody willingly she doesn't know a stranger. She's been army crawling but for the most part still prefers to roll around as her main mode of transportation. She loves to stand up and likes to walk around holding on to your hands.
Here are a few Easter pictures.
Hunting Easter eggs (well she got one and just wanted to chew on it)
