Vacation Part 2 - Gatlinburg

Monday we decided to head in the direction of Gatlinburg.  We started our day going into the National Forest.  This was the first time in our 10+ trips down there that we've gone into the forest.  Since Kaden has a broken foot we decided to just do one of the auto tours.  We did the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail which is closest to Gatlinburg it was about 11 miles and had several area where there were waterfalls close to the road and we stopped to take some pictures.  There were also some historic buildings along the way that we stopped and walked around as well.  It was neat hopefully next time we are there both kids can walk and we can hike an easy trail.

After the National Forest we got some lunch at Texas Roadhouse in Gatlinburg and went to the Hollywood Car Museum then did a little shopping down the strip.  We decided to go ahead a go to the Aquarium while we were in town since it wasn't too late yet.  We have gone to the aquarium every time, so we kind of planned not to go this time but when we drove past the kids started going on and on about the aquarium that they wanted to go so we figured why not. We walked around there for a few hours the kids really enjoyed looking at all the exhibits and they each got to pick a few things from the gift shop afterwards.  After the Aquarium we headed back to the cabin the kids and Wes played in the hot tub while I grilled some supper.

Aubrey was being a big ham and wanted her picture taken with everything :)
